OUR STORY
Born on
the trails.
Loam Co. started the way most decent things do — a few riders, a shared complaint, and a batch of kit we had made because nothing on the shelf was quite right.
Where we came from
We ride the same loops most weeks. Long days when there's time, after-work laps when there isn't. We wanted kit that handled both — technical enough for the descents, comfortable enough to keep on for a pint afterwards.
So we made some. Then people started asking where we got it. That's the whole origin story.
Every rider has a home trail. Ours isn't more interesting than yours.
What we stand for
Made to be worn out. We make a small number of things and keep making them. No seasonal drops, no colourway that vanishes before you can replace it. Buy the trousers, wear them into the ground, buy the same trousers again.
Trail tested. Nothing goes on the site until it's been properly ridden in. Mud, rain, dust, the lot. If it comes back wrecked, it goes back to the drawing board.
Honest pricing. Priced on what it costs to make well. That's the whole calculation.
Sustainability without the sermon. Recycled fabrics where they don't compromise performance. Plastic-free packaging. We're not going to lecture you about it.
Built by riders, run by riders
We're small. Everyone here rides. Every call — fabric weight, cut, colour, price — gets argued over by people who'll be wearing the result that weekend. That's not a marketing line, it's just the only way we know how to do it.
